Lloyds Vantage question

Hi All,
I just had a quick question about adding Vantage to my current account. As i understand it at the moment there is tiered interest rates up to the balance of £5000.
What happens if you end up having more than £5000 in there? Do you receive the tiered interest up to £5000 or do you lose out on all interest as a form of penalty?
Thanks

You earn interest on the first £5k, even if you have a higher balance.0
