Sites to search for US flights by monthly calendar

My mom's feeling a bit blue about missing the whole pregnancy experience with her first grandchild, so my dad and I are thinking about flying her over sometime in September/October. The dates are really flexible..really any time during those two months.

I'm having trouble finding a place that will let me search for fares by month though. SkyScanner has this feature, and I used to use it on LastMinute.com, but I can't find the option anymore.

Found a couple of fares for around £400, but wondering if maybe I can get a slightly better deal? Flying to London from either Chicago or New York.

Going to be looking again soon for Christmastime, so any advice offered is greatly appreciated.

End of August/Sept flight sales should be with us soon, perhaps wait a bit, unless she is flying on peak dates.

Yeah, I thought prices should be going down soon, but maybe not til after the Bank Holiday? I'm thinking that as long as we stay away from half term, the fares should be pretty even.

  • I always use skyscanner.net for those kind of searches and saved quite a bit of money with them! :)
Also good is Kayak (as mentioned by retepetsir) and swoodoo.com (but it's in german, so use google translate:) )
