Black Horse PPI Claim

Hi

I had a loan (£5000) way back in 1995/1996 which I paid off around 2001. It was with Chartered Trust who were taken over by black horse.

I can remember being told if I did not take insurance then they could not give my the loan.

I do not have any account numbers or any paperwork as it was that long ago.

Would I have a valid PPI Claim or is it to long ago ?

Would Black Horse still have my details on file ?

Any help would be appreciated

There's no harm in asking, however if you have no record of the loan there's no guarantee that the lender will either. The first step would be to contact Black Horse and see if they can trace you on their records. Give them your full name, date of birth and the address you were at when you took out the loan.
