Warranty advice needed

Opinions please?

Over two years ago I complained about my aquarium dripping. They sent me sealant and said if it doesn't work they'll replace it. It didn't work perfectly bur I couldn't move my fish anyway while i got and set up a replacement so I left it. I now have a a smaller aquarium in another room so I asked if they'll replace it now. They say it's not under warranty. Should they still replace it as it was under when I first reported it??

To be fair I thought I was being cheeky going back to them after so long, just wondering whether to push it further

It's been okay for two years but now you have a new tank, it is no longer fit for purpose?

    I agree - Cheeky.
  • It's fit for purpose, I just put up with the annoying drips when I had no choice. I'm not getting rid of the tank in question or anything, I.e. I'm not just trying to get a new one to sell. I just now have the means to move the fish whilst replacing the tank.
