JSA and studying via distance learning

Been on JSA for a couple of months following redundancy and no luck with new job. Considering re-training as a Personal Trainer via distance learning course. Now, I would still be job seeking because I will need the cash so my question is: If I am doing the course evenings and weekends, will my claim be affected? Essentially, I will still be available for work during the hours that I stated in my job seekers agreement and the course will be outside of these hours.
Do you think the Job Centre would accept this?

No affect to your benefit distance learning is fine as you can change the hours to suit your hours of work. Personally I wouldn't mention it. If it comes up with your personal adviser just say it's a few evenings per week of self study at home. Which it is....:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.0 -

Thanks.
This is what I thought. Wasn't sure whether mentioning it was a good idea or not.0 -
Hello, I am trying to find out about a home tutor photography course called Institute of Professional Photography? My daughter is thinking of buying this course but the cost is £527! So we would like to know if there is anyone out there who has either purchased or completed the course and if they feel that it is or was a good purchase?
We have checked out the reviews but none of these have actually completed the course and so as it is a lot of money for a 17 year old to afford with her part time work!

Better to start your own thread so that people can see a relevant title, and I don't think the Benefits board would be the place for it, maybe in the Employment one.0
