Help writing the explanation for IVA application

I'm really stuggling with what to write, or not to write. The check list says keep it short, but then the info in the personal details section is vast.
I have looked on here for other posts but am struggling to find any guidance.
Could someone please offer some advice and/or a link to where this has been discussed before.
Thank you.

    Hello debtdalek, :hello:

Hubby and I had trouble writing the explanation for the debt too. I telephoned CCCSVA for advice and they told me to write bullet points and they would do the rest.

When writing the bullet points, I could see clearly where we went wrong and how we ended up in debt!

    Stay strong and positive!

    Hugs

I've just sat here for ages writing a draft email and somehow it vanished - I've tried everything to recover it but it's gone!
I'm sitting here now trying to recreate what I had already written - this time in a word document!
    Aaaaggghh
  • how can such a small space to fill take so much effort???? filling in these forms left us feeling very flat.

hubby wrote bullet points, hubby had a large drop in wages, overtime cut,my health problems, him borrowing in secret in the hope things would improve etc etc.

look after each other,it's tough focusing on all the negative but you will get through it all.
