You are more than welcome to use it!

Thank-you so much! Just a note to anyone else if you have used the poem, could you let me know because I don't want to use it and get disqualified :)

  • I feel a little bit sorry for the girl with the chicken house who lost out because hers isn't the only winning one with lines taken from elsewhere. The difference was her two lines she took were from a copyrighted poem. i hope she ends up getting the chicken house somehow.

I think if I was lucky enough to win the car seat everyone would know it's me, unless someone else who won it was called Jane lol

Only round 30mins to wait :D

This took about 10 minutes, but what's really annoying is you can't go back & edit, you have to delete from the end IYKWIM?!

I did mine in an email first then c & p it into the form.

I have mine in a Word Doc so that I can c & p each time and alter it if I wish. I came up with some beauties but then forgot what I had put when I had to retype it - an age thing ;)
Thanks to all OP's your efforts are much appreciated :A

I have to agree with this.

I'm in the minority, but i think Tesco was fair to do what they did.

I think the issue is more so that the poem wasn't completely original. It also didn't help that M said she spent 3 hours on it, thus implying that she came up with it herself. Whilst people keep on saying that the same thing was done with song lyrics, there really is a difference imo.

If Tesco backtrack, it will just open the floodgates to people thinking it's ok to copy from poems that aren't all that well known, and everyone will be up in arms... again.

Maybe Tesco will be nice enough to give Micbou a prize out of goodwill! Whoever is pretending to be Kenn is rather sad and should be ashamed of themselves.

wow, go out for a while and all hell breaks loose :)

have to say there are some pretty sad individuals who use this site.. but then again, I frequent the arms so its no surprise.. how petty and sad someone must be to set that account up instead of just questioning Micbou themeselves!

I think it was the right decision too and I think many do agree.. it was the backlash and constant digs at Micbou many didn't like.. she admitted her mistake, she relinquished the prize.. what more could she do?

just to set the record straight on my comments about the song lyrics.. It was not in meant to be in comparison with using the chicken poem.. it was taken out of context as was in response to those who accused her of cheating whilst we were all being 'creative and original' coming up with our own verses etc when quite obviously not all are!.. Sorry but the flymo winner changed one word on a song verse.. but good luck to them, they won! ;)

    anyway.. roll on 5.30

lets hope for some MSE winners!
