Lets not start the chicken house argument again please - my head hurts!

Why not? People are genuinely peed off about it and as someone else has said, adapting or changing a nursery rhyme to suit your needs is different to copying someone else's work word for word. Tesco's asked people to be creative - copying/plagerising someone else is not what I call creative. I call it cheating/

Looks like people will forget this now as another winner has been identified as one who comps with multiple IDs (which isn't allowed under Facebook rules but that seems to be ignored).

I think the difference is that other people changed/adapted etc well known lyrics to meet their needs whereas this entry wasn't altered one tiny bit and therefore was totally someone elses work.

    Absolutely!

To those guys who have posted your entries on here - some great ideas but I wouldn't post them on here - as we have already seen - Plagerism roolz!

Rather be a honest loser than a deceitful winner

That was uncalled for when you know that the person involved is a member on here. She has admitted her fault, so there's no need for comments like that. We are asked to be expecially nice to new members, so as a new member, please show some respect for others who have been here longer.

Just to try & put this whole thing to rest (if that's possible?) before I head off to work for the night.
I have spoken with Tesco today & we have agreed that the prize for that hour will go to someone else.
I know what I did was wrong, although I can honestly say at the time it was not done maliciously.
I wonder how many times all of you have 'copied & pasted' words from the internet without a second thought to
whether those words are the property of some else? Anyway.. thats beside the point.
Well done to the winners, there is only so many times someone can apologise, so I will bow out of the forum now, I wish you all many
    years of lucky comping.

Rachdreaming can I ask if you used a different poem each time? My head is hurting from making up limericks and ditties!

micbou I think the board is split a bit on this issue but I am sure that most people (vast majority) will feel you have done the right thing and that should be an end to it. I don't think you need to leave the forum. Chin up chick :D
