email re-direction?

I have just left Virginmedia and expect my ntlworld email address, which I have used as my main email address for many years, to be shut down soon. Is there a way to re-direct emails bound for this address or will I have to email everybody?

Safer to e-mail everyone IMO

Once Virgin - NTL close the account nothing would be forwarded

You could do one to everyone at once using BCC so no one sees anyone else's e-mail address

assume you will loose it for good (even if it does keep working it could stop anytime) have you created a new email address? gMail is a good choice

you can copy all you emails from the ntlworld address to the new gmail/email account using an email client (like Live Mail) on your computer. if you want to keep them.

you will also have to change any log in email (for ie MSE) to the new email address and also email everyone your new email address.
