Natwest Advantage Gold - HELP!!

I currently have the Natwest advantage gold current account, which I upgraded to in May from my Current Plus account. I am thinking of cancelling the advantage gold as I don't use the benefits, apart from the mobile phone insurance - which I have read bad reviews about on here anyway, but I see that Natwest no longer supply the Current Plus account...so does anyone know what account I will have if I cancel the advantage gold? Will I still be able to get back my Current plus account as I am an existing customer?

Also, is it easy to cancel the advantage gold benefits? Can I do this on the phone?

    Just ask to downgrade the the Select account (not Select Silver, that's a fee paying account). Select is the new name for Current Plus.

    You cant downgrade over the telephone so you will need to pop into a branch.

    However tell them you want to down grade to the "select account",

    The Select account is the new version of the Current Plus, and so you will get exactly the same benefits.
    Anything that I do say, is strictly my opinion :p
