Natwest Advantage Gold - HELP!!

I currently have the Natwest advantage gold current account, which I upgraded to in May from my Current Plus account. I am thinking of cancelling the advantage gold as I don't use the benefits, apart from the mobile phone insurance - which I have read bad reviews about on here anyway, but I see that Natwest no longer supply the Current Plus account...so does anyone know what account I will have if I cancel the advantage gold? Will I still be able to get back my Current plus account as I am an existing customer?
Also, is it easy to cancel the advantage gold benefits? Can I do this on the phone?
Any advice is appreciated! Cheers :j

Just ask to downgrade the the Select account (not Select Silver, that's a fee paying account). Select is the new name for Current Plus.Debt free and staying that way! :beer:0

You cant downgrade over the telephone so you will need to pop into a branch.
However tell them you want to down grade to the "select account",Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0 -
Thanks folks. Do you still get a cheque book with that account do you know?0

The Select account is the new version of the Current Plus, and so you will get exactly the same benefits.Anything that I do say, is strictly my opinion
