Found a Northern Rock passbook...

...among some of my gear from years back.
Had £2.99 in the account in November 1996, there is just the one balance, but im sure I withdrew £100 and they gave me a new passbook.
Im assuming that money is still there as I havent closed the account.
Do I get my shares from the switch from building society to bank?
And do I get any cash for not closing my account after the run on the banks a few years back?
