Being Charged Twice For One Product

Good evening guys i sincerely hope someone can help me. I have always used the site as a port of call for advice.
I am currently moving house and have purchased some laminate wood flooring from a store in my local shopping centre.
I visited the store, Handed over my measurements and was quoted a total of £145 pounds. I paid the store manager and obtained an invoice and was told my laminate would be delivered the next day.
Later that evening the same store manager called me and said he had miscalculated my quote and undercharged me by £250. He says i have to pay the entire correct cost or be refunded my £145 payment.
Is there anything i can do? This was his mistake after all i paid what i was told to and don't see why i should be made to pay for his miscalculation.
Your advice is most welcome

Ooh, don't know. It's a good question. If you'd ordered something online and the goods hadn't yet been dispatched, the manager would have been within his rights to ask for the extra or cancel the order. However, had you bought a telly, say, from a shop and taken it there and then and the manager phoned you up the next day and said they'd undercharged you, tough luck - the contract's complete.
I'm not sure when the contract's deemed to have been completed in your situation. Was it at the point you paid (despite not being in receipt of the goods)? I hope so because if so, you could argue he's legally bound to supply you the laminate at the lower price.
Someone will know...

You cant force them to sell at £145, If you dont wanna pay the extra then you have no option but to accept the refund.0 -
you have 2 simple choices, Get a refund or pay the proper price and get your flooring delivered.
The store are under NO obligation to sell it to you and as the goods are still in their possesion they can terminate the deal/refuse to sell you the goods.
Sorry if thats not what you wanted to hear0 -
You are not paying for his miscalculation. You are paying for the materials.0

How much is the material elsewhere, i.e. was £145 really too low?0
