La-Z-Boy or DFS Supreme?

I'm looking at a new sofa set. I have other threads on this forum about it.

This is about comparing two products.

http://www.dfs.co.uk/sofas/recliner-sofas/supreme/
And
http://www.scs.co.uk/product/la-z-boy/la-z-boy-cool-standard-chair/

The sofa might be the two seater manual supreme.
But the arm chair can only be manual, and I am unsure whether to go for the Lazyboy (which I have sat on) or the Supreme (which I have sat on).

Often it's down to the store, and people's opinions on particular sofas.

I've read many negaitves about DFS, but of course the positives are rarely reported.

So any advice would be welcomed.

DFS give better aftercare service, but the Lazyboy has a better recliner action, and is lever operated.
Have you been to furniture vilage or looked at Celebrity motion furniture?

Is lever operation better than the 'clip' you get on the Supreme?
I think the Lazyboy has three positions, whereas the Supreme is just 'flick' and it's completely legs-up.

I don't like FV, had a very bad experience with them.
Not heard of Celebrity Motion Furniture.

    Hi steve,
It's great to hear from someone that has one.
May I ask where you bought yours? I see in the UK you can get them only from SCS or Recliners Direct. As Lazyboy direct do not sell this now, not as far as I can tell, as the 'standard' without the 'cool' options.

I've seen one in SCS that has the 'slouch' setting which is rather clever.
Also, could you tell me if your springs under the chair has a kind of soft 'bar' connecting them to reinforce them? As SCS showed me theirs and it has that.

I've heard of people saying the soft cushioned arms start to "let go" after a while on sofa generally. How old is yours, and as yours done that?

Many thanks. Appreciate the comments from an owner.

because they suffer from fatigue and break or the cable's come loose (you can buy them on e bay)I know of at least ten different types.

Why is that sort more likely to fail that the lazyboy lever type?
    How is the mechanism different?

The lazyboy lever type bolts into the recliner action,The other type is 'remote' from the recliner action and has a cable that links to a paddle that locks/unlocks the recliner action,More parts to fail.

But wouldn't it be covered under warranty?
The only difference I can see, is that the Level kind of operates something 'all the way' inside the chair, whereas the 'handle/flick' just unlocks it and off it goes.
