Since the start of 2007 I have moved some debts to get a lower interest rate, got a renewal on my phone contract, free phone, they are paying this months bill, plus 9 months half price, today I got my broadband for £9.99 down from £17.99, I am walking to town instead of getting the bus, saving at least 60p most days of the week. I am going to switch my BT bill to DD so it will be £1 cheaper.
I am looking at every aspect of our lives to see where savings can be made, when I had reached apoint when I thought I could not cut back much more:)
Thanks to Martin, this site and his books for keeping me on the ball!
I plan to be debt free by the end of the year

To avoid all evil, to do good,
to purify the mind- that is the
teaching of the Buddhas.

Hi - you've been busy!! :T
Is you're internet with a company that is offering 3 for £30? (I believe we cannot mention company names hence the writing in code).
If so how did you manage it because I may do the same?
Many thanks,

N tee Hell yes it is they indeed.
Well call the freeohone no. on the blurb they send you and say that u think the broadband is a little costly, and is there anything they can do for you. They will put you on hold for AGES. THis is where a lot of people give up. I think my 20 minutes was well spent as I saved £8 a month for 6 months = £48 quid aint bad for 20 minutes' work;)Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:

No problems about mentioning company names. Thread been running in the Internet Board regarding reducing your bills with NTL/Telewest for some 18 months now and loads of great success stories to be read.0
