Hi my DD's uni has sent an offer or this laptop and she now wants opinions on whether its good or not.
Sony VAIO EB4E1E/WI Windows 7 Laptop
She says she just wants an 'ordinary ' laptop for Facebook, internet, downloading music and watching iPlayer. I guess she's going to do an occasional essay as well! But she doesn't need any heavy graphics or programmes that she knows of.
Many thanks

I don't think that is a very good option, it is very expensive for the spec, something like this is much more powerful and is also cheaper. you can also get similar specs to the sony for much cheaper.
I'm sure you'll get some more recommendations,
ps if you do buy from pcwrold don't take out any extended warranties or ever get them to repair it, don't buy any accesories for it and dont buy expensive antivirus (use free avast) and also don't go for the free 'Tuneups' (why would a new laptop need a tune up) or 'knowhow' stuff0 -
It would certainly do the job, but you can get laptops like that for...£300? That's incredibly overpriced, as most Sony laptops tend to be..Squirrel!If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
