Surviving the application process
We've been working through all the forms and the income and expenditure and changing banks and everything for about two weeks now.
It's really hard going as it's the uncertainty of whether our IVA proposal will be accepted that is difficult at the moment.
I know they would only put us forward if they were fairly certain but even so it is very stressful.

It is stressful, DD -- especially when you see the figures in black and white ( I grossly underestimated my debt!) --- but, you will get there in the end. Stick with it.0

Hello debtdalek, :hello:
Our IVA took 8 weeks from the first phone call to the CCCS to the IVA being accepted. It is hard work, but it is so worth it!
We too, were worried about the IVA being rejected but I think everyone feels the same when they are going through this process.
The feeling you get when you have the phone call to say everything has been accepted is amazing, so as FoggyBrain says "stick with it".

I think that today we will have sent them everything that they have asked for.
I guess the bank holiday will delay things a little. Funny how suddenly every day seems to matter after living with this for many years!0 -
