NUS Extra Card (with Lloyds TSB account)

My daughter is about to upgrade her Under 19 Lloyds TSB account to the Lloyds TSB student account (quite happy with this, have researched).

It comes with a free 3 year NUS Extra card. It says it gives discounts on train travel with Cross Country trains, but I can't find out any more information about this, as it's certainly not listed as a 'railcard' on crosscountry site and no phone number to call and ask.

Can't even get on NUS site to find any further info.

Anyone help?
