Can I ask, has anyone on here actully won from Puzzle Magazines? Seems they give away an awful lot of money on various £5,000 £750 and £500 competitions... Just interested to know if anyone has won from here?

Many on MSE have won, including some of the big prizes. Some post in IWIWIW and some others send the poster thanks in a PM. I have won a £1000 and a couple of smaller prizes (in 4 years)

Several of the larger T-A-B prizes are shared between several magazines. The monthly £5,000 is one prize across about 10 magazines. You can enter once per magazine, and each magazine has a different puzzle, so you can have 10 entries to win it. I suppose it is thought that one £5000 prize is more attractive than 10 individual £500 prizes. The monthly £750 prize in the "mini" mags is one shared prize across all 7 magazines. Most of the others, including the £3000 holidays, are individual prizes for each magazine except for the odd 'special' such as the recent Rolling Stones Weekend and the Vauxhall Nova around Christmas 2011 (both of which were won by MSE compers!)

With the similar Puzzler mags, many of the prizes are also shared, but you only get one entry so you only need to enter once, for any of the relevant mags in the group.
