Just to clear up the points raised today:-
1) The £5000 competition is a single prize shared between several magazines - 10 this month. You can enter once per magazine, and each magazine has a different puzzle, so you can have 10 entries to win it. I suppose it is thought that a £5000 prize is more attractive than individual £500 prizes.
2) It is the Puzzler magazine comps, not these Take-A-Break ones, that remember your entry and give you a little tick to say you have entered. They tend to have the exact same puzzle in more than one magazine and entering under any of the magazines will tick the puzzle for all magazines. T-A-B do not show that you have previously entered (after you have exited your current session) and there is nothing that stops you from entering again. The terms state "we will accept only one entry per registered user. If more than one entry for the same issue is received, we will accept the first entry only". This means you will not be disqualified if you accidently enter a second time, and if you are unsure whether or not you have entered, or whether your entry has been accepted, it is OK to enter the comp to be certain.
3) The old T-A-B thread has a link to this thread in its final post. This thread has links to previous threads in post #2.0 -
