Novice Investor - Advice Needed Please

Hi All,

I’ve been looking at this board for a while now and I’m interested in investing for the future, especially as I’ve just got married.

I’ve got money in Isa’s and saving accounts etc. but I think it’s time to start investing in funds.

Is anyone able to point me in the right direction in terms of where I should start investing in funds such as the funds I should be looking at, the mixture of investments I should have, how I should go about investing in these funds etc.

I’m not going to be investing a great deal to begin with, say £50-£100 a month but I’m just looking for some advice on where to start.

£50pm per fund tends to be the norm with most although sometimes, smaller contributions can be better off direct with a provider. i.e. Invesco perpetual allows £20pm per fund so £100 would allow 5 funds but a fund supermarket just two.
