    Doggy B where is this house? I have had identical survey results on a house i wanted to buy! Could be the same one? Or maybe just a coincidence.

    I have decided to withdraw my offer as unfortunately the work is too much- I have been told it would be more economical to replace the roof than repair due to cost of scaffold and future repairs. I knew I would need to do some work on the roof but this is more than I budgeted for and with the damp proof course as well it will leave me cleaned out with no money for new furniture/other repairs/contingency etc.

    Also I have concerns with a terrace house that works to shared parapet Walls/ chimney stacks will be a headache due to party wall regs etc.

    Let me know what you decide to do in the end and how it all works out for you!
