Ah, thanks. I hadn't realised from your previous post that it wasn't everyone you meant... I'm a regular bargain hunter and the reduced items shelf always gets looked at by me for 10p (or whatever) items. Pleased I'm not a "scavenging tramp" now, i'll sleep better at night:rotfl:0 -
Hi guys, have a CS with me at moment, she says she knew nothing of DTD policy, typical eh !Back to square one, no apg, no comment.0

This is not the place to discuss ethics. Any such posts (be they for or against) should be reported and then ignored. Getting into abusive arguments is just "troll feeding" and diminishes the credibility of the whole community. Can I help?0 -
Take the blindfold off her, put the toy gun away and stop terrorising the poor woman. Kipnap and torture is not the way to get answers.0

I think it's the decent thing to do, don't you?
That's what I'm doing today - small world. They usually give me free stuff too, doesn't get much better.:beer:0 -

Let's see it defended, I can hardly wait.
I hope Redfox has the patience to delete all of the above rubbish. If not, we can say goodbye to this thread forever. Can I help?0 -

Priceless!!!!!!:rotfl: :rotfl:
Good to see Moneysaving expert is enabling you to do the job that the Tesco system can't seem to enable you to do. :money:
That coupled with the fact that you appear to be putting your energy into trawling through this site rather than putting it to use by putting your store in order.
I feel sorry for many of the CS staff. They are caught between the customer, Tesco policy and their store managers. Pity one of the higher level, "significant" managers didn't have the brains to alter the accountability structure and line management of all CS staff. Take them from under the store management and put them under area management. That way they would be able to get on with providing customer services and ensuring Tesco policies were being consistently applied.
In its current form, many CS staff appear to be worried that the store manager will be cross that his store is showing so much "wastage" and being influenced by his anger ather than being left to provide a quality service to customers. If the store manager didn't have such influence over CS staff, perhaps he / she would get on with improving the pricing integrity within his / her store to minimise the overcharges in the first place rather than trying to save "wastage" by pressurising CS staff to reduce the occasions on which the policy is applied!Mr. T - Stop overcharging your customers.
Bring back consumer confidence.
