I think - don't quote me though - that eBay restrict linked accounts from bidding on someone's items where they have already been blocked on one account.

I don't think they do unfortunately

Just wondering if you have opened an 'item not as described' case with ebay? ;)

Shame, another one of those rumours doing the rounds on the Community boards. Difficult to tell fact from fiction.

  • If eBay can manage to link the accounts members aren't permitted to get around a block by simply using another account. It would make the block bidder list pointless otherwise. Of course there's nothing to stop people using their friends account for example. The best way to avoid members taking revenge is to have two eBay accounts, one to buy and one to sell, both can link to the same Paypal account, all you need is another email address.

Not yet. I like to give people a chance before bringing in ebay/paypal.
Do you think I should now?

I have got an account for selling and buying. But I forgot I was logged into my selling account when I made the bid. Teached me a lesson.
