The problem with web photo storage sites are the quality of the photo - whether it accepts raw full sized images or whether they shrink either their physical size or file size. But the impact of this will depend on the purpose of wanting a website. If you want to create a website so they can just view the photos on their computer - they will suffice. But if you want to provide the photos to the couple so they can edit/print them out to their hearts content these sites might not be adequate. In this case providing the couple with the photos on a CD or your memory card would be better.

This doesn't really help you moneysavingdiva (because you won't have time) - but we're sending everyone a writable CD in our thank you cards. Everyone who attends will receive a thank you card - to say thank you for coming and sharing our day. We'll ask them to burn all their photos onto the CD and return them in the stamped addressed envelope provided. I'll then use them in our photo album (which I hope to complete by our first wedding anniversary) :) Okay so this isn't the most MSE way of doing it - just giving them out on the day would be cheaper (no stamps involved) but I figured doing it this way our guests may be more likely to remember to do it rather than the CD getting lost in the bottom of handbag (eyes looking at you mum lol).
  • I went to a wedding in July and they had a really good idea, that Im going to pinch they placed a large box of cds on a table and a note on each one asking could people upload their memory cards of their wedding day onto the cd and then please return it to them, They had specifically requested for no photographs on facebook xx

This is what we are also doing. I've bought some cd envelopes with my address and a stamp on which are going to be placed around the tables. They are very similar to this: http://www.tomsawyerwaistcoats.co.uk/store/showitemPHOTOCD-GOLD.aspx
It also helps as we're not having a photographer, so are hoping to use guests photos for our photo album.
