Thats a shame bullybear that you've had a bad experience - I have used Play.com a lot of times and once I have had the wrong item sent to me but customer services replied to my email within 24 hours and the problem was sorted.Mortgage Aug 22 £280,000

Thank you everyone. Is there a book you can get that has different designs in? When i mentioned it to him last night he said he would like something that he could display after he had made it up. He is a big fan of Star Trek, is there any Star Trek type things? I know there is Star Wars (son has that)
How about this Revell kit from Argos:
http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/2671334/c_1/1%7Ccategory_root%7CToys+and+games%7C14417629/c_2/2%7C14417629%7CCreative+and+discovery+toys%7C14417805.htm
It's not lego but might be a good substitute. Would hope that it comes with a stand for displaying. (quite tempted to reserve one for my OH!)
Just had a quick look around and you can get it cheaper from Amazon from 3rd party sellers. And also USS Enterprise kits also from amazon market place.0 -
There are plenty of pictures of USS enterprise on brickshelf which is like a place to put pictures of lego.
Unfortunately you would have to buy all the pieeces and put together.
I have emailed someone for instructions

markfrizzell to the rescue!Hi although is cheap the produce came damaged and the call centre worst I have dealt with. If u email them they don't answer. Sorry not always worth it
Yeah, we discussed Play a few pages back. Appears to be the most problematic so far of all the companies that have been posted on this thread. Their calls centre is their biggest issue though I'm just as surprised as kandfs mam is about emailing customer services. Normally emailing customer services in the UK can be very slow in responding but I'm surprised that you didn't get a reply from Play.
Best for customer services in my experience are the US ones, they more or less reply as soon as you've sent you're email enquiry. Wish the UK could be like that with customer services!0 -

Hi kms26, I've just had a closer look and can't find any kits by revell either.
Here's some links to the ones I saw last night but, i imagine you've already come across these:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Star-Trek-Enterprise-NCC-1701-D-model/dp/B002UX4LJG/ref=pd_sim_k_h_b_cs_2
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Star-Trek-Enterprise-NCC-1701-Plastic/dp/B00182EOJ2/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1321944974&sr=8-4
They're snap together ones and they get mixed reviews. I'm surprised that Revell don't do an Enterprise version. You could post for help on the I wanna buy-it or do-it forum to see if anyone knows of a site selling 'proper' Enterprise kits.0
