Rather thinking that perhaps I should wait to collect as they extended the reservation and order it if it comes online. Perhaps they will have the base plates if they have first dibs on stock perhaps

Just thought i'd ask all you die hard lego fans a quick question. My two kids are just on the cusp of getting into Lego, and I think they'll be very keen on it next year. Is it worth me picking up a cheap Lego advent calendar (if I can get my hands on one) now to put by for next year? Or will there be loads of cheap calendars being sold off at the end of December/new year?

If they're going cheap, get one when you can, they won't hang around for long if they are!

Are there no special Christmassy LEGO sets this year? Had the Bakery last year, and wasn't it the Toy Shop the year before? Anyone know?

There was the Post Office last year, Bakery in 2010 and the Toy Shop in 2009. HTH!
