  • His I just wanted to clarify about the £20 voucher from toysrus for spending £75 on Lego.
I did my order online and have just had the voucher emailed.
It says minimum spend £10 (bizarre as voucher is for £20!) and you can use it on anything not just Lego.
Hope that helps as I know there was some confusion earlier on about the terms and conditions and some thought you had to spend a further £75 on Lego to use it.
Only thing I am a bit gutted about is I have to use the coupon online again so would have to pay postage :(

Managed to reserve two pink half price boxes at argos but on picking them up was told the base plate wasnt included it was just the box of lego they wanted to sell me unlike the offer stated on the website. Anyone else any experiences with this problem and hopefully how did it get resolved. thanks
i didn't get the free base plates with my 2 blue boxes i bought from self service checkout, but went back in to store today & said i didn't get them & gave them the code that was on here 909/5889 . they didn't have them in stock but found a nearby store that did & reserved for me :) i went there & picked up the 2 base plates no problem ;) hope this helps :)

Well called the store and they said all their offers are subject to availability and they dont have the base plates and that's that apparently. I asked about claiming them at a later date and she went on computer says no mode "all offers are subject to availability, all offers are subject to availability" Her attitude was really couldn't care less. Think I shall give up as loathed to buy from them at all now

Well there seems to be some confusion about these base plates!
Just phoned up Customer Services who told me that the base plate is inside the box. I told them Yes there is one included but this offer is a green base plate seperate. They told me that there is another offer code on the system and that all stores are sold out near me until a big Lego delivery tomorrow at the warehouse that then filters to the store 5-7 days later. I was told that I could buy the box and pick up the base plate later and phone CS to see who had stock and reserve it over the phone! I was given a call reference number should I have any problems in store! :T:T

Off to pick up the last pink box within 50 miles tomorrow. Its a 10 mile journey so didnt want to waste time and money if I couldnt get a base plate free.....Oh dear
