They seem to be having these far more often than they used - there was one just two weeks ago. I shall certainly try this one since there's a fresh chicken involved! The last couple have only had cooked chickens which I don't really like.

I always wait for the times they have a whole chicken in lol - think I'll pair it with the med roasting veggies, profiteroles - or icecream as the profs alwys go very fast :/ - and a bottle of popolino rosso :)

    yum!
Trying very hard to be frugal and OS - just plodding on and doing my best!

Hmm think I might try this tomorrow night as a treat!

Do you get one main and one side each or is each big enough to share?

Well, I suppose it's a sign of the times - the chicken was 'small' not the usual medium-size.

Remember that you can combine the Dine In offer with their wine offers, so if you buy six meals you can dine in for £8.50!

Their wine offer is currently buy 6, get 25% off, and the wine that is included in the meal deal counts towards the 6. I bought 4 meals this morning and 2 extra bottles of wine. The wine was £6 a bottle, the two extra bottles were £12, but I then qualified for a 25% discount on all six bottles (6 * £6 * 25% = £9), so the 2 extra bottles cost £1.50 each!

    Cheers!

Oh I did, I did - one of the benefits of being retired is that you have lots of time, so I can always make sure I sort through and get the largest chicken on offer, so believe me, I always check the 'proper' shelves as well just to check I'm not missing something. They obviously have different items in different stores. Interesting.
