this has probably been talked about here before but couldn't find anything. when using the energy comparison sites, i dont believe that any 'loyalty bonus' that customers may or may not receive, is taken into account when results are given. eg, if a customer gets a £100/year dual fuel bonus from the supplier, then the comparison sites give results saying that changing supplier would save £50/year, the customer could actually be £50 worse off. am i correct in that? if so, why are the bonuses not included in the results, or at least asked if any bonus is paid before calculating whether a change of supplier is appropriate?

The comparison sites normally explain what is (and on occassions what isn't) included in making up their annual cost.
Normally everything is included that is given in a 12 month period.

So, for example, the 13th free month given by Atlantic is not usually included as that needs you to be a customer longer than 12 months (but this would be one of the items described as not included)
