Clean rust mark from glass table?

Has anyone any idea how I can clean a rust mark from a glass table? I was away on holiday and my daughter decided to use an empty soup tin as an ashtray and left it sitting on my brand new glass top garden table. It rained a lot and has now left a rust ring. Its a weird mark as you can't feel anything there.

Thanks for your reply but unfortunately this is not the type of rust mark that many of the articles are about. This mark looks like how petrol looks when its spilled on water. You can not feel anything on the glass. I was hoping for help with this kind of mark.........0
