Just a quickie to let you know about the walk - it was great!
I've found out that the map I had is related to a website that will design local walks for you depending on how far you want to go, where you want to start from, how much time you want to spend etc...
Its called www.walkit.com and looks really quite good - I've selected another one for tomorrow (weather permitting , its pouring now). The site is nationwide and appears to have lots of towns and cities.
Good free activity with a dog or kids if you have nothing to do!
Broadband decided not to work all day so schoolwork was abandoned (a feeble excuse!) and I went to watch Rise of the Planet of the Apes at the cinema instead using a free ticket that I got from a Lovefilm trial and bought some sweeties at the corner shop to take with me so a very cheap afternoon out:)
I've also arranged a volunteer induction thingy at the animal sanctuary for early Sept - really looking forward to it! All those fluffy things don't stand a chance!0 -
I have been looking for white masonry paint and bought 5 litres for...£4.00 from Adsa ... well chuffedDFW'er - Lightbulb moment : 31st July 2009 - £18,499

Thinking of spending???..YNAB says "NO!!!!"0 -
Hi all
Very quick post.
A LSD I guess. Spent money on grocery delivery for the week plus meat and stuff for when my cousin and family come down over weekend. Will be much cheaper than going out what with 5 kids as well between us. I also spent some money on the train as I was with lovely A1 mate who is having some work problems ( and the train was delayed by over an hour so we then really needed it!). So £7.50 in total but free snacks and water as train was so late. Thank you Mr customer Host..you were lovely! But that's it and interestingly no urge to spend anything else....maybe this is the start of the rest of my life??!! :-))
Have a good day tomorrow

DNMS - Thanks for starting us off today, what did you see at the cinema?
Welshwoofer - Well done, you've got the right attitude there! Worst thing to do after a break up is stay in all the time & get depressed/lonely. I hope your first day volunteering goes well, I want to do the same but just don't have the time these days, so hectic trying to combine working full time, trying to declutter the house, planning a wedding, keeping up with my fitness classes etc! Next year though after the wedding I definitely will!
Rock_cakes - Glad you've found somewhere already
Pixie - Yup the vouchers are out now - make sure you check the ones you print from the machines as well as I got one for an extra 200 points that could be used at the same time
kjp - PM me your email address & I'll send you itGlad your cashback has started to go through, it's so annoying waiting for it haha!
Hope everyone has had a good day, can't believe the time already where has the day gone?!:idea:Debt at July 2012: £12,862.57
