Insurance for pre exsisting conditions - who's good?

  • I used this forum to get cover for my Mum who is in her late 70s. . I think you will need to look outside companies on the high street, I used to work for one of the Big 5 and our underwriter AXA did not want to include anything recent or potentially serious, although a big list of things automaticlaly covered and none declarable.

    I went to Medici and have just taken cover again, for a week at around £45
  • Yes we have used this list from the BHF as well. Got some very good quotes , much much cheaper than the 'specialist' insurers for over 50's. :j
  • Try miaonline.com, managed to get hubby insured for a week in Europe inbetween chemo treatment!
    Some restrictions on location and EH11 card essential but we can go away!!
    'Neither a lender nor a borrower be'
    Now why didn't I take any notice of the
    second part of that quote!!???
