Hi guys I'm looking for a site that sells garden equipment at a good discount price

After many years of faithful service my pressure sprayer is no longer up to the job and has been retired

A mate who works the gardens in my local hospital has advised thinking about buying a Cooper Pegler sprayer. I've carried out a quick Google search and these sprayers are by no means cheap but I have a large patch of ground to cover and need a decent sprayer.

So can anyone direct me to a garden equipment website where I might pick up one of these pieces of equipment at a decent discounted price?

Feel free though to recommend other garden sprayers if you've found them good to work with.

Kevin

  • I am not sure about discounts but I bought my Cooper pegler sprayers from LBS horticulture in Colne Lancashire. I rate these sprayers and would not waste my money on cheaper brands.
Still waiting for Parking Eye to send the court summons! Make my day!

Had a look at their site the 15ltr Knapsack Sprayer - 2000 Series and that would be the sort I'm after comes in at £151.68 inc vat, and coming from Northern Ireland they'll want to charge me a few pound more.

Not to sure if I'd want to go that far, still it's a guideline price and worth shopping around to see if I can beat it. E-bay prices don't seem to offer much in the line of value. £144 on Amazon.

Looks a bit cheaper on the Sherriff Grass Care site (111.99 ex VAT) not sure if they deliver to NI though.

    Hope this helps.

Hi, Cooper Peglar are excellent sprayers. I have also used Solo proffesional sprayers which are good, however given the choice I would go for Cooper Peglar.
    Hope that helps.

I use a Matabi 16 litre knapsack sprayer which cost around £50 and I'm happy with it. I think this is also sold under the brand name Goizper.

The main things to consider are comfort and availability of spares. I never fill mine with more than 10 litres at a time, and at that weight it's comfortable enough. (Calculating quantities is easier too!) Spares are readily available.

I know the CP sprayers have a very good reputation though.

Edit: I use this company for sprayer stuff:
