Hello
We started a claim against HSBC late last year but with lots of things going on with a family bereavement etc we've not really kept on top of it.
We received a letter from HSBC in January saying that they could not provide a final response because of the legal proceedings going on at that time. They told us that they would keep us up to date let us know once the matter in the courts had been resolved.
Just wondered if anyone could advise me of the next step to take now that everything has been resolved in the courts?
Many Thanks
Kev

Hi Kev, give them a call, you should have heard an update by now, although its possible you may hear something by the 31 August, as the FSA have given these and some other banks more time due to backlogs because of the JR issues.
I would give them a call though first to make sure, good luck. The one and only "Dizzy Di"

Thanks Di
My wife called them and they have offered a settlement figure. We are just waiting for confirmation in writing so we can accept - hopefully they wont keep us waiting too long for payment.0
