I am a business seller. I buy to sell.
Recently an item never arrived to the buyer
I sent the original receipt to R.M. back in January to claim for another item which had not arrived, very unlucky that both items were on the same receipt.
I kept a photocopy of the original receipt but will this be enough proof for R.M. - I am not trying to claim what I sold the item for, only what I bought it for...

Royal Mail only accept the original receipt as proof of posting.
You should send the claim form with the photocopied receipt and add a note explaining that they have your original receipt. I imagine you will have a ref number from your previous claim which you can include.A home without a dog is like a flower without petals.0 -
Yes I have the letter which they sent me regarding the first claim as well as a copy of the claim form I sent them.
What are the chances! out of a thousand items I have bought and sold that 2 lost items should be on the same receipt!0 -
So an item was sent in January has only just now been claimed for?
IIRC from reading around I think there is a time limit involved.
Unless you mean the item was posted in June or July."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4

No I meant that I made a lost claim for an item in January which was bought on that receipt.
Now a 2nd item has gone missing which was bought on the same receipt, but only bought on ebay and sent out 3 weeks ago.0
