Hi sorry to hear of your problems with ebay. They are getting really expensive. I listed a few things on before and suddenly my seller account balance is at £42. Have you tried ebid as you can list things for free and amazon are good for books and cd's and its really easy to list. I listed some old books last night and it took me 20 mins to list 12 books. They also just take the money when you sell and give you the rest so its easier than having to pay monthly etc and you don't have paypal and their big fees. Hope you get everything sorted with them soon.
    Gem xx

Thanks guys, but it;s all ex shop stock, so ebay it has to be. They sent an email saying 'this address isn;t the one we have registered for your account'. Well of course note, you told me to email you if I couldn't get access to the original email address!!

    :wall:

So I've sent an email telling them to get it sorted within 24 hours, or I start legal action to reclaim my lost revenue at a rate of £200 per week. There's no reason my account would be stopped, I pay my fees early and have over 98% positives! Grrr.
This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Sorry for your hassle. Its all good on Ebay until you need to contact them and its useless. Just to vent some anger too I sold an item for £26 via ebay to a women in the US. One morning got an email from Paypal saying a case had been put against me for the £26 from the women in the US as goods not received. I contacted her to say they were posted, have 100% feedback etc and got an email the next day from her saying all ok - its arrived. However she said she didnt know how to cancel the complaint. I explained to her and she said she didnt understand or have time. During this time I contact paypal with copies of her email etc saying it was resolved. As she never contacted them I then discovered the money was taken from my account to refund her. So she has items and my money. Contacted paypal and ebay for the last 4 weeks - got nowhere. I know its not much to them but £26 plus postage is a lot - especially when in so much debt. Sorry torant on your thread. Just so annoyed.

Hope you get sorted and good luck.

oooh save-a-lot, you're a gem!!! I think it's a bit silly that such a big company doesn';t have a helpdesk. Well, they do if you are a powerseller! If I get no response to my email, I'll give them a buzz and find out what they intend to do about it!

Hobsch - couldn't you email her asking her to put the money back once she receives the refund? I had a similar problem, and the woman paid straight away once she realised I was out of pocket. She claimed after non reciept, it turned up a few days after the refund went through. The last person that tried that trick with me n the UK got told that as I had proof of postage, and she had her money back I was passing her details to the police to investigate 'gaining items through fraud'. Surprisingly enough it turned up the next day.....

I should have sent it some recorded/receipted way.
I have been emailing her and she ignores them. To make it worse she left positive feedback saying 'Excellent sale - I really did well out of it - thanks'.
I have sent this plus her emails confirming she received the items to ebay and paypal - keep filling out details. I made a claim against her but no joy. I will keep pestering though constantly.

Tell her you'll pass it to the police for fraud. And then do it. Being in the States I'm not sure how you'd do it, here or over there. But she's defrauded you.
