Good morning lovely DFWs
Back at work this morning and I have now definitely decided I like weekends better! Very cold this morning, didn't wake up on time to have breakie and I got to work where a bunch of sad faces with Monday blues were waiting
Still, have to keep smilling as I am told I look better that way!
Spent 44p on a croissant this morning which I am eating right now! Nothing else for the rest of the day for me.
Hope the second day of the challenge is going well for you. Off to do some work and check on you later!
Keep it low everyone!!!
Moozie x

Hi all, hopefully I should only spent about 40p on a newspaper, any more and I shall update later.0

Hi Moozie, glad the house move went well and you are enjoying your new home. I have a 'girl day' with DD today and we are going out for lunch, sadly my budget this month will only stretch to a McDonalds but she is more than happy with that. She goes back to school tomorrow and I'm back to work then too. So I should be spending the following:
McDonalds - £5.50
Sainsburys - Value crisps - 58p
Petrol - £20.00 approx
Hopefully that will be it but you never know what 'essentials' I'll remember in the bright lights of the temple of grocery shopping:rotfl:Debtfree JUNE 2008 - Thank you MSE:T0 -

Morning Moozie and co,Won't be going out today so will be spending nothing. my womderful DH nipped back with the papers and some chocolate for me today(haven't eaten Sat OR Sundays yet!) BUT.... he said that as it was from a £5 that he found in some jeans(that were going in the throw out bag-so much paint on they stand up on their own!) it doesn't count!!!!!!!!!Blind as you run...aware you were staring at the sun.
And when no hope was left inside on that starry starry night.

An NSD for sure! Yesterday's NSD turned into £17 in the pub after words with my housemate who thinks that turning the TV off when it's not being used is bad for the set!Overpay!0

Hi Moozie - I'm also hoping for a NSD today. I have a bit of a dilemma though, and I would welcome your 'words of wisdom'. My 2 Italian Sisters in Law are going back on Wednesday - they have bought so much 'stuff' in the sales that they are way over their baggage allowance, and it could cost them over £100 each in excess baggage.
They have offered to pay for a ticket for me (£56) as this will be cheaper (Quite an MSE solution, I suppose) and the luggage will 'even out' a bit.
Whilst I would LOVE a few days in Italy, and would see the In-Laws, I am trying to justify going. It won't cost me anything as accomadation, food will be free, but I don't like to 'freeload'.
What should I do?
I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

It's obvious. I think what you should do is let me go in your place.:rotfl:Overpay!0
