Uncontactable Company

Options
Hi,

I purchased a £70 PC component online, it arrived fine, but was not compatible with my PC.
I called the company and explained this and they said to return the goods which I did with a cover letter, including my invoice number and details.

I have a POD for the good being returned to them, but have not received my refund. I've tried emailing and calling the company, but without response. I've tried contacting them for over 2 weeks now without success. I'm not sure what to do next.

Please help!!

They have a month to refund you I believe. Has it been a month yet?

  • You really should check that things are compatible before you buy them also.

  • Fluffy, it'll be a month at the end of this week, but given that they are not answering their phone, i don't hold out much hope.

    How did you pay?
    By credit or debit card?

If so, read MSE's Section 75 Refunds article.

But wait until the month is up first.

No need for the sarcasm. Just saying that you shouldnt be buying things when you dont know if they will work or not. You wouldn't buy a car if you didnt have the appropriate liscence to drive it. Might save you the trouble next time.
