I have google tool bar thingie. It has worked ok for ages but now Whenever I go to type something into the search box it will only let me type one or two letters then freezes. e.g. for tesco will only let me type te then just refuses to go any further.
Anyone know what could be causing this and the solution?
TIA.

Perhaps its incompatible with your browser. That gum you like is coming back in style.0

That's typically the point at which it's ~supposed~ to open a drop-down box with suggestions. What to do depends a bit on what browser you are using, but generally you should be able to change the toolbar settings to uncheck the "show suggestions" option.
What to do then is again browser-dependent - removing the toolbar and reinstalling is one option, or changing to another browser such as Firefox which has its own built-in search box (which you can change to use something other than Google if like me you don't like how much tracking of your activities Google does) is another.0
