Ppi?

Can anyone tell me whether you are still able to reclaim PPI even if you have used it?
I was off work for 2 months with a broken collarbone and had to use it to pay my loan. It was useless as it payed out less than one months payment as it is only activated on the 31st day you are off work. I was so ill i could not face complaining about it but think now that i should have as this may scupper my chances of claiming??
Hope you can help?
Tracey

Hi there, this does not stop you putting a claim in.
If you win then the payment they made to you will be taken off the win.
  • great, thanks for getting back to me so quickly.

    Hi there

As amersall says you can still make a reclaim.

If successful they will work this out by reducing the amount what they have paid in PPI and the remaining plus interest should be awarded to you, good luck.

Remember that if you have made a claim, this eliminates a number of the complaint reasons you can use. i.e. you cant complain you didnt know you had it. You cant complain you were not eligible for cover.
It was useless as it payed out less than one months payment as it is only activated on the 31st day you are off work.

That doesnt make it useless. It makes it affordable.
