Hello moneysavers,
I m not sure if this is thr correct section but here is my question.
I've got a studioin south London(I m renting it) . I will be working in France for 2months and I would like sublet my studio whilst I m away.
Basically I will still be paying the bills but I would like a little help on the rent.
Do you know any website where I could find potential renter.?
I ve been given craspadder.com
any idea, has somebody else done that before?
thanks for the feedback:j

First of all you need to speak to your landlord to see if he/she is ok with you subletting their property (personally, I'd say no!).
If you are allowed to sublet, Gumtree is your best bet to advertise - if you can be competitive with the price I'm sure you'll have it let within a couple of days! As long as you are aware that even with a lease, the person you rent it to could refuse to leave and you'd have to go to court to evict them (expensive) or they could trash the place leaving you responsible. Unlikley, yes but something to think about!0 -
I would be very careful as they would probably have a 6 month tenancy in the eyes of the law, so you would be unable to get them out, if they decided to stay.0
