  • I've just ordered my first Carmine box at half price via Facebook. Ordered the March box as the site says that they sold out of the original February boxes so the steam cream and balance me won't be in the February boxes due to be sent out. Also just signed up and ordered the Harrods Glossy Box just to compare the two. Tried to order Last in Beauty Relax and Revive box at £6.95 but they've sold out of that as well and only have their £14.95 box available but i know i won't use all the stuff. I've noticed from blogs that a lot of these boxes contain false eyelashes - does this seem to be the norm as i know that i would not use these?

I'm glad I ordered Febs Carmine box now, as looks great value for the money, with things I'd use. I love the full sized Steam Cream. Haven't used, but would love to try, also the Body Wash. The cream alone pays for the box itself practically, so a big thumbs up from me.

My Feb box turned out to be a little different. Instead of the Steam cream, and body wash, I received a Japonesque Smudger brush (worth £14, good quality, and useful), and a silver Blingtone eyeshadow (approx £9.99, and gorgeous). I also recieved a beautiful pink full-sized Nail polish (Paris, approx £4.99), in addition to the mini lipstick (very tiny, but cute, and wearable), White Glo whitening toothpaste sample, and a Yardley Peony fragrance sample.

Just received today. Would have been nice to get a Steam cream, but as these are old boxes, they seem to have re-jigged the contents. Mine has a couple of items that were from the December box. I adore the cute packaging, Black box, Green interior, with a Pink/White pattern; Very stylish.

Overall pleased for the approx £12 I paid (including delivery). Will use everything, so good value for money. Was tempted by the Harrods Glossy box, but will be sticking with Carmine for now, unless there's an introductory offer.

Hey Karen, which FB page was it? I managed to get half price a couple of weeks ago then went to order another for my Mam and can't do it now. Loads of people on the Carmine Fb page seem a bit peeved about the replacements they have been doing!

To be honest i just entered Carmine into the search box on my Facebook page and signed up via Facebook. Maybe they only allow one half price offer via Facebook?

But to be fair, all subscribers received the Steam Cream box. Some late subbers even got it too. They should have notified new buyers that the box was different but the impression I got was that there was a deluge of new subscribers after people saw what was in the box, and they were overwhelmed.

Carmine are still much better than Glossybox as everyone who is subscribed to them gets an equal value box every month. Even though the next Glossybox is the Harrods one I'm still apprehensive because I know that there will be variations. I wouldn't be surprised if some people got Creme de la Mer and others got random body lotion samples that have been knocking round in the Harrods store cupboards for however long:D

I've entered Carmine and find somewhere to do a quizz about what I'd not do without but when I get to the end there's no offers. And liking the page doesnt' seem to have done nything either. Am I missing something (I often do!)
