I'm a sucker for beauty boxes, I have been subscribed to BP/Joliebox since sept last yr and never been disappointed, also subscribed to Feel Unique which were excellent boxes and consistent but they have stopped them now
I have now subscribed to She Said Beauty and am awaiting their first box next week
Carmine also look good so might give them a whirl aswell.Married 1st October 2015:heartpuls
1st Baby due June 2016 :happylove0 -
Have to say Carmine have excelled this month with 3 full size products. I'm only 200 points away from my free Glossy Box and then I'm cancelling.
Really miss FeelUnique as that was the best ever!!

I'm really happy with the Carmine box this month too. One of the products is something I've wanted to try for ages:) It amuses me that Glossybox have so much hype round each box then send out a very mediocre box, yet Carmine send out an amazing box with no fanfare whatsoever!0

really thinking about trying these, are they worth it?0

They vary. There are a bit faddy but if you like beauty products they are probably worth it. Glossybox are hit and miss as they don't send their 'star' product out to everyone, only about 20% I would guess. So it's a bit of a lottery. I know that I would not have walked into a shop and paid £12.95 for the items I got from them this month. The current Carmine box is so good I've ordered a second one, they were good last month too, a bit average the month before that - but we all get the same stuff from them so there's no disappointment that you missed out on something. 'She Said' is a new box, there's a discount for the first one on their site. Also 'Latest In Beauty' have just announced a £14.95 box, more expensive but they are showing what people will get in advance - the first one has a fullsize Smashbox mascara, and other fullsize make-up. If you google them their sites will show you what has been in each box - but be aware with Glossybox (and also Joliebox now apparently) that you wouldn't necessarily have got the best stuff!
I would recommend Carmine, they seem consistently good to me, and you can earn a free box quite quickly. The current box is still available on their site. Glossybox and Joliebox can be fab, but it's a bit of a gamble. Glossybox have been disappointing to me since November. There have been some great products each month but I haven't been lucky enough to receive any!
They are all keen to get new subscribers - so don't just sign up, look for discount codes, you should be able to get your first boxes half-price. Even if there's nothing on the sites or facebook, discount links are regularly given to vloggers and bloggers so a search should show something up. Then some people unsub each month and wait to see what the new box will contain before resubbing, which is probably the most MSE way to go about it!0 -
hey for those interested in Carmine I have just ordered next months for £7.95. I 'like' beautyboxswaps on facebook and there was mention of a half price code. So if you google 'carmine beauty box half price' it's the first result at the top with a link straight throught to the carmine page. I was previuosly subscribed to glossybox and feelunique but decided to cancel one to save money so cancelled g/box then got the email about feelunique stopping! So then i tried the latestinbeauty refresh and recover box and thought that was really good for 7 quid with 3 extra good sized samples.0

I get several for blogging and have to agree with the above poster- GlossyBox likes to advertise their 'star' product but the fact is a very small percentage of people actually receive it. A look at the company facebook page shows a lot of unhappy people. Joliebox has its own set of problems, mostly customer service related and the fact that there is a major difference between what the French subscribers get and what comes in the UK boxes. LuxBox and She Said haven't yet shipped but will probably be more of the same, sample boxes are all the rage lately.
Do your research for sure, and if you don't like it send it back.:j0 -
Got my half price glossybox today, it's ok, but I wouldn't have paid the full price so I have cancelled further boxes. Looking forward to the Carmine one though, and still possibly going to doo Shesaid.0
