Worcester Bosch or Vaillant boiler

Just had quote no 2 in on a re-sited, new combi boiler. Unlike the other heating engineer, this guy recommends WB. He says they give a 6 year parts and labour warranty (may go to 7 years soon apparently) and their CS and supply time on parts is superior/faster than Vaillant. Plus Vaillant has only a 2 yr guarantee.
I mentioned that the other plumber had said that some of the fittings or parts on the WB were plastic, whereas they were copper on the Vaillant.
I live in a very hard water area with lots of limescale. Not sure if that should have any impact on our decision of which boiler to choose.
Is it much of a muchness between the 2? Getting parts easily is important as boilers always go wrong in winter.
thanks for any advice

WB boilers are pretty good. The service I got from the WB-registered installer was the worst possible service and WB's own engineers appear to be as ngeative and as miserable as i've ever come across. That's my experience!Everyone is entitled to my opinion!0

I've had both and they were both good boilers.
Both efficient and reliable.
If I were to have to buy either again I'd probably go for the Worcester, for no other reason than it seemed slightly more energy efficient making my bills slightly less.
Thats just my particular experience though.0
