    Dear Mr Conradi

Thank you for your e mail forwarded to our customer services department. I am sorry that you have had cause to write to us in these terms.

We pride ourselves on customer service here at Taylor Wimpey and it is most disappointing to receive such correspondence.

I have investigated this matter and I would agree that the personnel door has not been located in the desired position in spite of this instruction being relayed to our team on site. In the circumstances I am prepared to remove the payment of £500 from your completion statement as a gesture of goodwill.

I hope that you can now look forward to moving in to your new home.

    Kind regards

£500 better off and will just have to squeeze around/duck under any equipment that will be in the way :)
