Is Rentokil insurance worth??

10 years ago we had a small area of woodworm infestation which Rentokil treated, although they never covered the gap in the floor. From them on, we have been paying them an insurance to cover woodboring insects JUST on the ground floor, the area they surveyed, costing 59 pounds a year.
Since I am fed up of paying insurance for everything (house, contents, cards, car, breakdown, travel, you name it) I dragged my feet and missed the renewal date last week. Now I contact them and they tell me "they would only renew it if I do not suspect any problems". The truth is, the floors are covered so I do not KNOW if there are any problems, but as I told them, we have coughed up 590 pounds during the last 10 years.
So what if I renew and then something is wrong? Will they say I acted in bad faith? And is it worth to keep paying anyway? The thing is, I am thinking of sanding the floors or installing floorboards on top, depending on estimates and conditions. So something might be discovered in the process. The bottom line is: is it worth?
I would be grateful for any opinions or similar experiences.

Having coughed up for ten years, and planning new floors, I would have kept going at least until I'd had the carpets up.

If at the moment you don't have any reason to suspect a problem, then...you don't suspect a problem. Tell them so. But expect to find it hard to make a claim in the near future.
