Its great that N&P don't charge you to withdraw cash anywhere in the world. Does anyone know if this is likely to change following their merger with Yorkshire? Thanks, John.

Who knows! There is no guarantee that N & P would have kept this benefit for ever anyway, even if they remained independent.

We'll just have to wait and see.

It's a crying shame that a formerly well run and strong society has lost it's independence due to the incompetence of it's executive directors and insufficient challenge from the non-execs. The former chief exec was allowed to 'resign' (read retire) with undoubtedly a very nice termination payment and a pension far greater than most people earn as a salary!!

The merger means that as there will never be another set of accounts published for N&P or another AGM, the details of this will never ever be published! Scandalous IMHO.
If you feel my comments are helpful then I'd love it if you 'Thanked' me! :)
