Sorry I am late coming into this but yes that was a fab sale from Lufthansa.

I have a daily alert from Kayak for flights from Aberdeen to Abu Dhabi for next Feb. For two of us been averaging around £1000-£1200. We went this year with KLM/Air France and paid £750.

The 2 day sale price with Lufthansa was £679 for the two of us :beer: Needless to say I booked. The day after the sale same flights were £1279:eek:

Lufthansa will launch a new route from Aberdeen to Frankfurt in October so some good competition and another hub to travel through.

Never flown long haul with Lufthansa though?

I've just come back from a long haul economy Lufthansa flight to Bombay. Can't fault them, the flight on both legs departed and arrived exactly on time and the service on board was fantastic. I would definately fly with them again.
