I am not sure how this managed to gets itself onto my laptop but it is really annoying and i cant work out how to remove it.
When i search or try to shop online it keeps giving pop up suggestions in bottom right corner of better buys etc etc.
Even when searching on Amazon it appeared below the product search bar!!
Goggled uninstall and ran it but it hasnt removed it
Thanks

Thank you, GunJack, for linking to our uninstall instructions. (This forum won't yet allow me post links.) There's nothing to worry about from Surf Canyon (it is not malware), however, it is a good idea to periodically run full system scans on your computer.0 -

this particular piece of software may or may not be malware, but the fact remains it got onto the OP's pc without their explicit consent.
Whether it means it was bundled with something and they missed the tickbox to not install it, or it was a hidden extra, it's still shady
BOBS - run CCleaner cleaner and registry scans also, and check your program files folder (including the common tasks sub-folder) to manually delete the prog file if it remains......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......

Our software is only ever installed with the explicit consent of the user.0
