The mere fact that you had it does not mean it was missold.i cancelled this a few yrs back when i relised that i had it
That might mean it was added without your knowledge (which would be grounds for upholding the complaint) or that you had forgotten about it (which would not)
which is a commercial decision and not grounds for upholding a complaint. The fact that somebody else might sell the same product or service more cheaply is not something an insurer needs to disclose any more than you would have to tell your employer you are willing to work for less than they are offering or somebody else can do the job just as well or better for less money.it was expensiveit states thatthey have looked into the policy using doc and evidence held by them can i ask for this evidence
I am a little surprised they have not provided it. They may want to treat that as a Data Subject Access Request and charge £10 for it.is it worth taking it further
Without seeing the evidence we cannot say. On the basis that the evidence has not been provided they may have something to hide. I would probable ask to see the evidence "in order to consider whether the matter should be referred to the Financial Ombudsman Service".
If they provide it free you can make a call. If they attempt to charge you for it or drag their feet, go straight to FOS (remember the complaint must reach FOS within six months of the date of their final decision letter).0 -
Is it poss for you to repost the post as I found it very difficult to read and understand as the grammar and punctuation was all over the place...0

Sorry to hear this, but it does seem more difficult to make a reclaim on CC PPI than that of Loan PPI, however, if its not the final decision, you could ask them to reconsider with further information, such as if you do not agree with the reasons for rejection then let them know with an explanation.
Keep at them until a final decision is received, good luck. The one and only "Dizzy Di"
